EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

The Inaugural Annual Black Friday Barter is Nov. 24th from 2 pm - 5pm at the     DiSilvestro Rec Center(1701 S. 15th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145). It is behind the South Philadelphia Free Library at Broad and Morris Strs.

With this unique exchange experience, you can trade items for Black Friday Barter (BFB) Bucks. Every item you bring has a specific BFB Bucks value, making exchanges easy and fun.

Here's how it works: Entry is a suggested donation of $5, and you'll instantly receive 5 BFB Bucks. Plus, if you bring items to exchange, you'll receive extra BFB Bucks based on their value. It's a simple way to stock up on BFB Bucks.

The BFB Bucks Exchange values are as follows:

• Tech Accessories and Arts and Crafts Supplies: 1 BFB Buck
• Educational Materials, Books and Media, Accessories and Personal Care items, and Toys and Games: 2 BFB Bucks
• Footwear and Bags, Household Goods: 4 BFB Bucks
• Clothing and Linens: 5 BFB Bucks
• Outerwear: 6 BFB Bucks
• Small kitchen Items: 7 BFB Bucks

We accept specific items to maintain the quality of our exchange and align with our values. While we appreciate the diversity of offerings, we focus on quality over quantity. Items accepted:

• Clothing and Accessories (adults and childrens): Clothing, shoes, hats, scarves, and other fashion items.
• Household Goods: home decor, furniture, and linens.
• Toys and Games: Children's toys, board games, puzzles, and outdoor play equipment.
• Books and Media: Books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records.
• Arts and Crafts Supplies: Art supplies, craft materials, and DIY tools.
• Small Kitchen Items: Cookware, utensils, kitchen gadgets, and small kitchen appliances (toasters, blenders, coffee makers, etc.)
• Beauty and Personal Care: Unopened beauty products, skincare items, and toiletries.
• Educational Materials: Educational books, textbooks, and school supplies.
